Review of The House on Sorority Row (1982) by Robbie M — 04 Mar 2010
A deservedly forgotten 80s slasher that canâ??t hold a candle to killer gems like The Burning, Sleepaway Camp, The Prowler, or classics like the Nightmare on Elm Street or Halloween films. A group of stale sorority sisters pull a deadly prank on their house mother and must suffer the masked madman consequences.
The kills are dealt out slowly and without passion. I will say that the opening sequence provides for an interesting and atmospheric slasher origin but the flickâ??s a general bore. Not VF.
