Review of The History of Future Folk (2012) by Ken M — 10 May 2014
This story is well served by a spectacularly raw, modest production, so that the humanity of all the characters - particularly the aliens - can shine through. What might be called "charming" I would venture to say "full of heart", but it doesn't depend on just heart to win you over.
Talent abounds, particularly musical, but also comedic. This film is a ray light in this old dreamer's constellation.
