I have been a Sam Elliott fan since Lifeguard. And now he has his career topping performance in The Hero. He deserves an academy award nomination for this performance. It is at time humorous and heart breaking.
There was no one in the theater under 60 today but at the end of the film the moment of silence in the audience showed that we all understood and got this film.
