Review of The Hallelujah Trail (1965) by David T — 22 Jul 2007
This movie took me a couple times to really get into. I watched it about a year ago and hated it. After a few times I was able to pick up on the surprisingly subtle humor, that I must have been too stupid a kid to pick up on.
The film is brilliant and quite funny. Like most westerns it makes a great use of the beautiful desert settings. Great performances by all the actors, especially Lancaster, Jim Hutton and Lee Remick.
