Review of The Grandmother (1970) by Logan S — 27 Nov 2008
I make a habit of comparing David Lynch to Franz Kafka in my movie reviews, but nowhere else is the connection more apparent than in this film. If I hadn't actually read all of Kafka's material myself, I'd refuse to believe that this wasn't a film adaptation of one of his stories.
This really is proof that the young director was definitely going places. Where those places were, though, we may be better off never knowing.
