Review of The Golden Compass (2007) by Samantha B — 06 Oct 2012

I read the novel prior to watching this film, so for me it was easy to follow and very accurate. My friends also enjoyed it, none of which had read the books. I really do believe that many people didn't enjoy this film due to the media's need to throw religion into everyone's face when the film was in theaters.

What a shame that was! I had to explain to many people about the ridiculous accusations being made about the film. Thankfully, my friends are not close minded and agreed that after they watched the film, that all the prior accusations were inaccurate.

Do not allow the press to prevent you from enjoying this colorful film filled with spot-on acting and entertaining fantasy violence.
