The movie's focus is on the life of a person who was gifted with an extraordinary ability to play Weiqi (Go chess game). The director tells a story about a life behind the genious title. He shows the man with his hesitation and unpredictability, sometimes going down to irrationalism.
He was the winner. 17 ten-game championships. Non of them lost. But in his personal life and spiritual development..it seemed that he was a failure...
