Review of The Girl in the Photographs (2015) by Tim B — 04 Apr 2016
Ok, so this doesn't have very good reviews and frankly I don't get it. However, I did notice that a cool of them last in the first 20 minutes. How can you ever rate something after that long? You cant.
I liked this movie a lot. The only thing that wasn't good was some of the acting. It would sometimes go from good to bad with the lead but I liked her character so it didn't bother me too much.
The strongest part for me was the plot. I seriously kept wondering what would happen next. It was kinds nuts and didn't follow typical horror at all. I was never sure what would happen or who would die. Some real surprises here too!
If you like scary, messed up stuff I highly recommend it. This and They're Watching are the best horror films of the year so far. This was also Executive Produced by Wes Craven and is the last thing he did before he died but you can almost feel him present here.
