Review of The Giant Gila Monster (1959) by Tim S — 18 Aug 2013
Where to start with this movie. I have had it in my collection for over 6 years now but never watched it until last night, and I have to say this was a hidden Treasure. Not many monster movies have this kind of response from, come lets face it some of them barely keep us awake or are just to ridicules to watch but not this one.
The acting withing the film was amazing the special effects were supered to other kaiju films of its era, Think about Tarantula you new that monster was just spliced into the seance but that never happened in in The Giant Gila Monster, It was fluid and amazing.
The Story as well fit well with the film but I won't spoil it for you all. I have to rate this film a Solid 10/10 within the kaiju community and a must watch film to us all.
