If you enjoy Iglesias' stand-up then this movie is certainly worth your time. He might even get some new fans out of it, but it won't go down as one of those live comedy films that stands the test of time, like Eddie Murphy's "RAW" or Richard Pryor's great films.
Having said that, this was a thoroughly enjoyable time that rose above the summer movie clutter when Iglesias got very personal. In fact, the last bit about reconciling with his estranged father after 30 years had me shedding a tear and elicited a few sniffles from the four frat guys sitting behind me.
An excellent date movie, this one should appeal to most fans.
