Review of The Flowers of War (2011) by David R — 26 Feb 2013
I must say the critics who have rated this movie must have watched some other movie than I did as a history buff who has mainly because of this movie looked into this era of Chinese history for those who say it is far fetched it is not far fetched this sort of bravery was actual seen all over Nanking and for those who say that the attempts at emotional moments this actually was how things turn out in real life if any thing he down play what happens and showed a far cleaner version than was necessary and maybe the lone sniper defending the children was a little extreme but other than that this is one of the best films I have ever seen of this type.
