Review of The Five Senses (1999) by Pj E — 09 Jul 2007
Absolutely beautiful. Very Atom Egoyan-esque. Canadian writer and director Jeremy Podeswa examines the often unreliable nature sight, the pain of a man in love with sound and on the verge of losing his hearing, the frustration of a cake maker whose cakes look far better than they taste, her boyfriend and aspiring chef who practically sweats sex, and her best friend who's in love with the smell of love.
