Review of The Five Obstructions (2003) by Dylan R — 10 Dec 2007
The spirit of dogme lives on in this film. this was a facinating peice, and I was really inspired and moved by the relationship between these two men. the role reversal of mentor/mentee is inevitable, and really touching.
von trier is a great ass hole, that being said. but he is still brilliant. the end product here is inspired, imaginative and passion filled. the obstructions are truly keys to limitless expression. great meditation on the creative process.
