For an art student, this film is a dream come true: putting your tutor's most acclaimed work to five contemporary reworkings, all with evil restrictions. Von Trier reveals an incredibly competent skill as both critic and filmmaker, as well as a friend.
Just don't ever invite him to critique your work.
