Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Dorian J — 27 Nov 2007
This is probably my favorite Vampire film... which isn't really that hard to accomplish since a well-rounded, well made vampire film without a bunch of bitchy victorian assholes crying about their immortality is really hard to come by.
This movie has old fashioned humour, a bit of 60s flare, some social undertones, but superficially it's just a good vampire movie told in a supernatural, fantasy form. Plus it's my favorite director at the helm, and a beautiful Sharon Tate.
