Review of The Factory (2012) by Jon-James H — 06 Oct 2012
Decidedly average fair that makes a last ditch attempt to break free of it's all too stereotypical mould with a ludicrous plot device.
The film starts out well with some nicely lit shots and good performances from its cast. There's even genuine moments of intrigue. Alas O'Neill's desperate attempts to be original, and they are desperate, make the film nose dive into mediocrity.
It's all too clear why The Factory didn't get released for 3 years, and, when it finally crawled out from under its rock, it slid inconspicuously away into the DVD bin.
