Review of The Expendables (2010) by Love M — 12 Jan 2013

I'm giving this a 5 stars for a very biased reason: This movie takes me back to a time where action movies had gratuitous violence, corny one liners, and explosions galore. As a man who grew up on the Stallone/Schwarzenegger movies of old, this movie did not disappoint.

Seeing Stallone work along side action stars like Statham, Li, and Lundrgren as well as MMA legend Couture and Terry Crews to make a good action flick was just what I was hoping for when the first trailer came out.

If you are a fan of the old school action films, or you just want a good movie to turn your mind off, check it out.
