Review of The Escape (2018) by Wayne K — 14 May 2018
This movie is horrific. A woman has a nice house and a decent looking husband. The husband does not have a gut, and he is still attracted to her. She has done the breeding thing and has the middle class free ride but still she continues to act sad at every turn.
If we were unsure she was sad, we are reminded by the melancholy piano music that plays every time she looks unhappy, which is all the time. Then she runs off to Paris and totally gives the green light to being seduced by a bad boy but then she judges her seducer even though she has just cheated on her husband.
Then she wigs out, her husband is called and she hugs him, goes back home and looks as unhappy as ever. Can I have the life I spent watching this back?
