Much better than I had hoped. I was already invested in the story, so they had that going for it, but happily it managed to be restrained and un sentimental. As it ended I did feel sad that DFW is gone, but happy that his work and this movie exists.
Great performances along with an uneasy look at fame and what it can mean to report on admired figures.
