Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Del F — 08 Apr 2016
Fantastic acting. David Foster Wallace is portrayed by Jason Segel as a genuine, thoughtful, tortured individual (and somehow a brilliant novelist, as well, though that's not obvious at all). And David Lipsky, played by Jessie Eisenberg, is the audience stand-in, wowed by the novelist, jealous of the brilliance, and completely thrown off balance by the real person he meets.
