Art house pretension. Pastiche of 70s erotica. Maybe yes on both counts, but I loved this.
It's very erotic without much sex. It's extremely tense, very tender and increasingly amusing. I think we can all relate to parts of their relationship. So if you see one film with forcible urinating into someone's mouth, make it this one.
