This film is definitely a slow burn. There's an uncomfortability to the build-up that helps increase the tension between the actors. When the switch flips, the action starts and doesn't slow back down.
The ending was unexpected, but thinking back, the seeds were well-planted and it makes sense. Alli Hart as Haley is truly amazing. Her character arc is very intense.
