Review of The Death of Superman (2019) by Late R — 22 Sep 2018
Full of brutal fights, epic moments, and an entertaining side-dish of romantic tension, 'The Death of Superman' gives us the Man of Steel at his most heroic, but also shows us his vulnerable, nervous and very human side.
Featuring the iconic Justice League with arguably its most famous line-up, as well as a formidable foe, there's certainly no shortage of fast-paced, exciting action. But there's also a nice balance between that and the more everyday worries that Clark has to contend with.
When all is said and done, it does Superman justice and shows him as the hero he was always meant to be which should leave audiences satisfied. So why not 5 stars? Because it doesn't feel fresh or try anything different, but it does do that 'same old', so to speak, pretty perfectly.
