Review of The Darjeeling Limited (2007) by Lydia R — 03 Nov 2010
Another phenomenal Anderson film. Great colors, wonderful details, striking cinematography, intriguing dialogue, great acting. I loved the chemistry between Wilson, Brody, and Schwartzman. It's something we haven't seen before and the storyline is incredible, watching these characters try to heal from old wounds and restore their relationships.
This film has some of my favorite movie scenes ever (The lost train; The peacock feather on the mountain at the convent) and the tiny, quirky things that completely make each character unique, an Anderson trademark.
An utterly stunning film.
