Review of The Curse of the Cat People (1944) by Chris J — 16 Jun 2011
A brilliant quasi-sequel to the effective original is more a dark children's fantasy about the loss of innocence and power of a child's imagination than the gothic psychosexual character study of the original.
Plays out like a great Grimm's fairy tale without the monsters.
