Review of The Cottage (2012) by Jacob G — 18 May 2013
While The Cottage fails to really deliver any scares, it gives enough in the story/suspense train of interest to be interesting. The first half of the movie is pretty formulaic, but once it starts squeaking off the rails it becomes a tense little bugger.
Which isn't to say it's unpredictable; enough hints are given to keep it from feeling totally random. I especially enjoyed the last 1/3 or so as the puzzle-pieces start to fall into place.
