Review of The Cocoanuts (1929) by Jdc + Vlt — 12 Sep 2008
This is their first feature film so the Marx brothers are excused for doing more lengthy music numbers, less hilarious one-liners and less funny cracks. I think I skipped most of the music numbers. Okay, we get it, the Marx brothers are multi-talented but we watch the Marx brothers for Groucho's witty jokes and Harpo and Chico's slapstick humor.
