If you treat all the films as stand alone films, you won't appreciate this one. Upon further inspection of Cloverfield Paradox, you begin to see how all the movies are connected while being separate simultaneously.
Amazing prequel and sequel at the same time. I took delight in this paradox. "The future unleashed everything".
