Review of The Bullet Vanishes (2012) by Andrew L — 07 Sep 2012
Chi-Leung Lo and Derek Lee make a police murder mystery film with two strong lead actors of Nicholas Tse and Ching Wan Lau, however the film has a very routine type of "who done it" theme with an ending that needed to be cut out in the final print.
Althought the film isn't entirely boring with some good elements and humor, but the story isn't all that interesting by having one person to be so greedy all he wants is to be the next chief of police.
Only one smart thing that was in the story and the way how it was written was the way how the mastermind covered up the killings was one smart and creative way. Another good element is the artistic designs of the sets and costumes with some good & beautiful cinematography and smooth film editing.
