Review of The Bullet Vanishes (2012) by Weithye L — 30 Sep 2012
An entertaining Chinese film about two detectives who investigate a series of deaths in a small village in 1920's China. The film was shot all digital and the image was crisp and clear, making it a joy to look at.
There were some great set pieces and I was fully drawn into the mysteries behind the murders and the ending in particular was unexpected. My favorite scene would have to be an explosion toward the end that's edited in slow motion.
.. very cool! A fun movie to end the summer.
