Review of The Brown Bunny (2003) by Jason C — 10 Oct 2007
This film recieved a bad press upon release, in part because of that infamous final scene between Chloe Sevigny and Gallo. Regardless, it's a beautifully realised meditation on self imposed isolation. Well directed, a great score, and a screenplay that shuns excesive dialogue in favour of visual exposition. It's less visceral, less edgy than Buffalo '66, but just as good. Worth watching.
Oh, and is Vincent Gallo's penis really that big??
