The themes of this movie are very similar to those of Vertigo. If you've ever lost something important in your life, blamed yourself and not been able to move on this is the film for you. One of the saddest and most beautiful films I've ever seen.
See past the scandal and you'll find an intelligent and profoundly moving movie. Brilliant cinematography and use of music.
