Review of The Brooklyn Banker (2016) by Holley D — 08 Aug 2016
Saw John Bianco in #TheBrooklynBanker last night. I was riveted, it was a really INTENSE 2 hours! Anyone who grew up Italian/Catholic in the 70's in New York or New Jersey will identify with the characters in this movie.
Lovers of the Mob movie genre of all ages will enjoy it, and realize #TheSopranos was not the end of the genre, there is still plenty more to say. Director #FedericoCastelluccio says it here with passionate intensity.
Paul Sorvino was outstanding in a supporting role to Troy Garity (Jane Fonda's son) who carried the movie. Go see it.
