Review of The Boogens (1981) by Bill B — 28 Jul 2013
Okay, I was finally able to give this one a look via the recently released Olive Films Blu-ray release, and since it's always been one of those oddball releases that escaped me in me youth I was curious how it would hold up for an adult.
It's not bad. It's not great either, but overall it's got a certain rubbery charm to it, due in no small part to the puppet-y creatures that are finally revealed to be lurking in the remote house where people keep going missing. Also, bir props to the dog, he was a huge selling point for the film.
Worth a rental.
