Review of The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years (2016) by Sam W — 15 Sep 2016
It keeps your interest throughout and tells the story in a positive way, with a wide range and good balance of people's memories. There is a good selection of music and it is still just as great to listen to, and the restored gig at the end is amazing from a technology standpoint.
The lads are likeable characters and their energy (as well as Beatlemania's) really shines through when performing and off stage. However, it is a bit samey in parts, and as it only covers the touring years, it ends abruptly and glosses over both their early and later years.
