Review of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) by Jeva Lange for The Week — 09 Nov 2018
No horse better demonstrates being above the nonsense of mankind than Franco's. It watches with the aloofness and bored disinterest of a spectator. How exactly a horse can truly appear impassive, I don't know exactly, but this one does.
