Review of The Adjuster (1991) by Walter M — 19 Dec 2004
The Adjuster is a very, very odd movie from Canada(there seems to be a lot of strange movies coming from Canada. Yes, this means you, Cronenberg!) by Atom Egoyan(the great - Exotica, Sweet Hereafter; the mediocre - Ararat, Felicia's Journey) about a married couple.
He is a claims adjuster who is too involved in the lives of his clients but not enough in his domestic life.(But we never see him in an office of any sort.) She is a censor who is nowhere near as involved in her work.
And then there's an even stranger, very wealthy couple, whose lives seem to consist of playing games....
