Review of ThanksKilling (2008) by Austin Y — 15 Dec 2010
Pretty freaking funny. This isn't a movie you're supposed to take seriously, which some people don't get. The acting: bad. The music: annoying (with the exception of the "Best Friend Billy" song).
But THAT'S THE POINT OF THE FILM. I mean, one of the taglines for this movie is "The Ultimate Low-Budget Experience," so don't expect an award-winning horror/comedy. The turkey is hilarious and the story is just beyond ridiculous.
This was A LOT better than "Birdemic." See this if you get the opportunity.
