Review of Texas Rangers (2001) by William W — 18 Sep 2004
This is not the worst movie I've ever seen. But damn is it close. It's terribly predictable, and James Van Der Beek will never be any better than Dawson's Creek shows him to be. I used to have a little bit of respect for Dylan McDermott but after this film, I think it died, along with any that Ashton Kutcher had built from his decent acting in The Butterfly Effect. The first time I heard that horrible accent come out of Kutcher's mouth, I had to laugh out loud, it was just so ... bad. Usher is, sadly, the perfect addition to this paltry, WB-kid cast..

It will be a long time before I watch another movie first-billing any WB actor NOT coming from a Joss Whedon show..
