Review of Terri (2011) by Virginia L — 20 Jul 2011
A mumblecore-esque tale of acceptance in an environment where nobody is content with themselves or those around them. The film sacrifices a traditional redemption for any character in exchange for the awareness that no redemption is needed.
Methodically slow and downplayed, Jacobs takes a unique position in a character study about what growing up really means.
