Review of Telstar: The Joe Meek Story (2008) by Dantanian B — 23 Jun 2009

I thought that Con O Neill delivered a brilliant performance of Jo Meake and I liked all the little cameo roles as Jostin Hawkins as Screaming Lord Sutch. Some parts of the fillm could feel a bit disjointed and mixed up but you did get a real feel of the 60's, the six years that Jo Meeke was in this manic house felt like they were much longer, I would have liked to have gained more of an insight into this guys life to get a better understanding of the reasons why he had such black mood swings.
