Maybe it did overdo it with the cartoons and cheesy talking cars, but this documentary hits its stride in tracing the impact Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's custom car designs had on popular culture at large.
The graphic visual design was sometimes clever, sometimes annoying - and the rockabilly music got tedious after a while.
