Kitano tries to be surrealistic and fails...badly. This is a stupid, meandering film which is utterly boring and pointless; it's just Kitano riffing on Kitano in a self-referential and obvious fashion.
The only area this film succeeds in is leaving the viewer, as Kitano intended, dazed and confused.
