Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Anonymous User — 16 Feb 2013
This one surprised me, a strong script and honest portrayal of a woman who tries suppressing her strong chemistry and attraction to a neighbour. Director Sarah Polley handles the story with honesty and intelligence making it for an interesting, and at times uncomfortable watch.
Michelle Williams is excellent. It's nice to see Toronto playing itself with many recognizable locations, and of course there's the music of Leonard Cohen featured prominently including the title-track.
