Review of Take Me Home Tonight (2011) by Salah A — 11 Nov 2012
This film did what it was ended for and that was to be fun & original.
In this tale of unrequited love, Matt Franklin (Topher Grace), recent MIT grad, works at Suncoast Video & is determined to win back is high school crush, Tori Frederking (Teresa Palmer), who he never had the courage to ask out on a date. Matt's best friend, Barry Nathan (Dan Fogler), is out of luck from losing his job and him & Matt decide to have a fun time at Matt's sister's boyfriend's party. Matt's sister, Wendy (Anna Faris), a writer, who desperately wants to get into grad school, is with Kyle Masterson (Chris Pratt), a blinds seller that doesn't want Wendy to be happy. By the end of the night, all of them want to be truly happy & with the party of a lifetime, they sure hope to be.
This movie had a great soundtrack & the casting & the story line were absolutely flawless and wonderfully done. This is a film to add to your 'must-see list' for sure!
