Review of Take Me Home (2011) by Brad S — 20 Aug 2013

There are a few good moments, but they are overwhelmed by a lot of schmaltz, bad movie tropes, bad acting, and simply mediocre filmmaking. The cinematography is strong in many spots, at least when it's not over lit.

I feel bad picking apart writer/director/actor Sam Jaeger's work, because I know he's a talented guy, but the film just didn't come together in the end. I give him credit for trying his best.
