Review of Take Care of My Cat (2001) by Daniel S — 18 Dec 2008
Excellent movie about the perils you face as your social groups disintegrate after school. It's a wonderful film that looks hard at how money and upward mobility can change people and their perceptions, especially if those perceptions are wrong.
Hae-Ju may have the career, but does it bring her happiness? What realistically are her prospects when set against those of her friends - still ekeing out an existence and trying to find a niche in Incheon - in a harsh world far removed from the glamour of Seoul.
