A rather blatant Tarantino rip-off, Sushi Girl is still an entertaining piece of gangster/exploitation cinema that brings the style and the brutality you would expect from a Tarantino clone. Sushi girl features an amazing cast of cult actors: Tony Todd (Candyman), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Michael Biehn (Terminator and Aliens)< Danny Trejo, Sonny Chiba, etc.
Sushi Girl ultimately has little depth beneath its astonishing surface, but it is a well-made (if derivative) and entertaining film nonetheless.
