Watch this in stead of Bryan Singers Live action poor-fest. A very nice re-interpretation of the 'Death of Superman' and 'Superman returns' Comic's from the mid 90's.
I'm a Comic reader, but not a big Superman fan, but I enjoyed this film quite a lot.
