This is the story of SUPERMANS Cousin a beautiful blond KARA played by new comer Helen Slater this movie shows Kara as a college student and as Supergirl she has all of the same powers as Superman and there is even a scene that movie watchers get see in which Kara and Clark Kent meet and Superman and Kara meet for a brief time superman being of course the late great Christopher Reeves.

. and the special effects for its time are absolutely amazing...
